Body found set on fire, found in shopping area in Mexicali
MEXICALI, Mexico (KYMA, KECY) - A body was found after it was set on fire and dumped in a popular area, says Mexicali police.
The body was found near the East border on Sunday afternoon.
"The body on fire does not put the surrounding houses at risk, but since it is among the garbage we keep eyes that the fire does not spread, our job is to put out the fire but with great care to avoid erasing evidence, we have to be very carefully because this is a crime scene," stated SAID EMANUEL FAJARDO, MEXICALI FIREFIGHTER
Forensecis say the burnt body was of a man between 30 and 40 years old, the cause of death could also not be determined.
