Recently convicted man plans to appeal sentence

U.S. (AP) - The Arizona man who stormed the U.S. Capitol on January 6 is planning to appeal his conviction and multi-year prison sentence.

On Tuesday, a notice was filed in court on behalf of Jacob Chansley wanting to make an appeal.

Chansley recently hired a new lawyer to represent him, however, the appeals he can make are limited regardless.

Jacob Chansley was seen at the U.S. Capitol while wearing face paint, no shirt, and a horned hat when the rioting occurred.
