Arizona man gets prison time in financial exploitation case
Man pleads guilty for fraud
TUSCON, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY/AP) - A man from Tuscon has pleaded guilty for attempted fraudulent schemes and financially exploiting vulnerable adults.
Hector Andres Aleman has been sentenced to three years in prison, the Arizona Attorney General's Office says.
Aleman was accused of fraudulent schemes by applying for loans under the name of unaware victims then transferring the funds to himself.
A Superior Court judge ordered Aleman to pay about $140,000 in restitution to CUNA Mutual Group, $32,000 to one of the victims and $10,000 to Pima Federal Credit Union.
