New Details: DEA agent and accused gunman dead in shooting at Tucson train station

TUCSON, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The Tucson Police Department (TPD) now says a gunman killed a Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) special agent aboard a train parked at the city's station. A second agent and a TPD officer got injured during the Monday morning incident.
Tucson Police Chief Chris Magnus says a passenger opened fire as agents and officers conducted a routine inspection for illegal contraband. Chief Magnus says officers had detained one man when a second man pulled out a handgun and opened fire. Agents returned fire.
The suspect was later found dead in one of the train's restrooms. Police have not released his identity.
None of the 137 passengers or the 11 crew members got hurt during the shooting.
Amtrak's Sunset Limited was on its way from Los Angeles to New Orleans.

TUCSON, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - One officer is dead, two others are injured, and one person is in custody after a shooting aboard an Amtrak train in Tucson.
The Tucson Police Department (TPD) says it happened just after eight Monday morning while the train was parked at the city's downtown station. The Amtrak Sunset Limited was headed to New Orleans from Los Angeles at the time.
137 passengers and 11 crew members were on board when the shots rang out. Passengers say they heard the gunfire and hunkered down until police told them to flee the train. None got hurt.
TPD is releasing no details on the officers involved, nor has it identified the suspect.
