UPDATE: Interstate 8 Westbound near Wellton reopens

PHOENIX, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Interstate 8 westbound near Wellton has reopened after a crash closed down the roads, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT).

No details have been released on the severity of the crash.

PHOENIX, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) says a traffic accident has closed Interstate 8 just outside Wellton.

The highway is closed at milepost 142, which is just past State Route 84.

ADOT has released no details on the severity of the crash. Nor has it said when it expect to reopen the highway.
