Deadly crash in Yuma closes 32nd Street

One killed, two injured in collision

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - One man is dead, two others are injured after a collision on 32nd Street in Yuma.

The Yuma Police Department (YPD) says it happened just before 5:30 Wednesday near Avenue 4E. Officers say a Toyota Camry made a left turn out of a private driveway and into oncoming traffic. A westbound Honda Accord crashed into the Toyota.

Paramedics took the drivers of both cars, and the passenger in the Honda, to Yuma Regional Medical Center (YRMC). The man driving the Toyota died at the hospital. Police have not yet identified him. The woman driving the Honda suffered serious injuries, as did her passenger.

YPD closed down 32nd Street for hours while officers conducted their investigation. Anyone with information on this accident is urge to call (928) 373-4700. You can also submit an anonymous tip by calling 78-CRIME - (928) 782-7463.
