Crews resolved issues with major power line

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Arizona Public Service (APS) has restored power to all homes affected by Tuesday's outage.

APS says it crews were able to identify an issue with a major power line, and correct the problem within its anticipated deadline. All customers had their electricity back on before 4 Thursday afternoon.

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Arizona Public Service (APS) says it's working to resolve a power outage that left more than 600 Yuma customers without electricity.

APS says it got reports of issues with a major power line around 11:45 Thursday morning.

The problem created an outage that extended from 24th Street to 32nd Street, and from Avenue A to 4th Avenue. At one point more than 640 customers were affected. As of 1 p.m., that number was down to 293.

APS expects to restore full service by 3:50 p.m.
