PHOENIX (KYMA, KECY)-A fire broke out early Friday morning at the Maricopa County Democratic Party in Phoenix.

12 News says firefighters responded to smoke coming from the building near Central Avenue and Thomas Road around 1 a.m.

Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire but the Arizona Democratic building's side was damaged.

No injuries were reported.

The County Democratic Party Chair Steven Slugocki tells 12 News, "Our side of the building here at the Maricopa County Democratic Party, they said, is completely burned down. We've lost all of our stuff -- computers, equipment, printers, the files, it's all gone."

"We have all of the information. Luckily a lot of it is digital, but we do have a lot of paper copies as well. We're going to have to go through and see everything that's gone," Slugocki said.

The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
