Hermosillo continues to lead Sonora with the highest cases
HERMOSILLO, Sonora (KYMA, KECY)-As of Thursday evening, Sonora health officials confirm a total of 4,275 COVID-19 cases along with 357 deaths.
Hermosillo continues to lead the state with the highest cases, 1,389. However, San Luis Rio Colorado continues to have the highest death toll, 82. Officials continue to reiterate to the community to stay home to stop the spread.
On Thursday, health officials confirm 264 cases were reported along with 26 deaths.
The new cases were confirmed in the following cities; Hermosillo 97, Nogales 40, Cajeme 38, Navojoa 28, Agua Prieta 14, Guaymas 12, Huatabampo 9, Sahuaripa 7, Etchojoa 3, Nacozari de Garcia 2, Empalme 2, San Luis Rio Colorado 2, Caborca 2, Bacerac 2, Santa Ana 1, Benito Juarez 1, San Miguel de Horcacitas 1, Benjamin Hill 1, Alamos 1, Fronteras 1.
The new deaths were confirmed in the following cities; Cajeme 7, Nogales 5, Hermosillo 5, San Luis Rio Colorado 4, Navojoa 2, Carbo 1, Guaymas 1, Magdalena 1.
7,852 patients have been tested, 3,577 patients have tested negative, 430 patients have been discharged, 3,110 patients show mild symptoms, 378 patients remain hospitalized, 81 patients are in stable condition, 236 patients are in serious conditions, and 61 patients are on ventilators.
