More than 4,000 COVID-19 cases in Sonora

HERMOSILLO, Sonora (KYMA, KECY)-As of Wednesday evening, Sonora has a total of 4,011 cases and 331 deaths.

Health officials confirmed 217 new COVID-19 cases along with 22 deaths.

The new cases were confirmed in the following cities; Hermosillo 61, Cajeme 50, Caborca 29, San Luis Rio Colorado 22, Nogales 15, Navojoa 9, Guaymas 7, Cananea 4, Puerto Peñasco 4, Pitiquito 4, Magdalena 4, Santa Ana 2, Trincheras 2, Altar 1, Etchojoa 1, San Miguel de Horcasitas 1, Gral. Plutarco Elías Calles 1.

The new deaths were confirmed in the following cities; Hermosillo 6, Cajeme 5, Nogales 3, San Luis Rio Colorado 3, Guaymas 1, Navojoa 1, Benito Juarez 1, Caborca 1, Gral. Plutarco Elias Calles 1.

Since March 16, 7,400 patients have been tested, 3,389 patients have tested negative, 401 patients have been discharged, 2,898 patients show mild symptoms, 381 patients remain hospitalized, 88 patients are in stable condition, 231 patients are in serious conditions, and 62 patients are on ventilators.
