Making a Difference: San Luis residents want to help local students

Offering free school supplies during event on Thursday

SAN LUIS, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY). Parents in the City of San Luis want to make sure that local students are prepared to go back to school in the Fall. So little by little they began buying supplies to hold a School Supply Drive to donate items to students in San Luis, Arizona. On Thursday, June 11th 2020 from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. at 2416 E. Aguirre Street students of all ages can visit the event and pick up some free items.

Organizer Gary Snyder told us a little bit about the event, he said " Local residents and students attending from kindergarten all the way to college here in San Luis Arizona me as a resident and other residents and volunteers have come together to gather this donation for you".
