YPD investigate shooting involving 2 cars

No arrests have been made

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The Yuma Police Department (YPD) is currently looking for two suspects who may have been involved in an exchange of gunfire Sunday afternoon.

YPD says they received a report of two vehicles exchanging gunfire while driving at the 2700 block of S. Nogales Avenue.

Upon their investigation, one car was a black passenger car with faded paint and chrome rims. The other car is white, according to police.

Police also found multiple shell casings in several locations.

No one was hurt, but two homes and one other car in the area were damaged from the gunfire.

No arrests have been made.

The incident is still under investigation and anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Yuma Police Department at (928) 373-4700 or 78-CRIME to remain anonymous.
