COVID-19 by the numbers: A look at cases, deaths in Sonora

HERMOSILLO, Sonora (KYMA, KECY)-COVID-19 cases and deaths keep rising in Sonora. 143 new cases were confirmed along with 20 new deaths.

With the new cases, Sonora has 2,704 cases and 224 deaths.

Hermosillo keeps leading the state with the highest cases, Cajeme second, and San Luis Rio Colorado (SLRC) third. However, SLRC seems to be the city with the highest deaths.

As of Tuesday evening, 5,720 patients have been tested for the virus, 3,016 tested negative, 334 patients have recovered, 1,873 patients have mild symptoms, 273 patients remain hospitalized, 164 patients are in serious condition.
