Coronavirus latest update in Sonora
HERMOSILLO, Sonora (KYMA, KECY)-Sonora's death toll and cases continue to rise. As of Sunday evening, health officials report 102 new COVID-19 cases and 16 new deaths.
Since March 16 Sonora has 2,386 cases and 193 deaths. Hermosillo continues to have the most cases, 777. However, San Luis Rio Colorado (SLRC) takes the lead with the highest death toll, 54.
Health officials say the new cases were reported in the following cities, Hermosillo 36, Cajeme 22, Nogales 19, SLRC 15, Nacozari de Garcia 3, Gral. Plutarco Elias Calles 1, Navojoa 1, Baviacora 1, Magdalena 1, San Miguel de Horcacitas 1, Agua Prieta 1, Huatabampo 1.
The new deaths were reported in the following cities; Cajeme 5, SLRC 4, Nogales 3, Hermosillo 2, Agua Prieta 1, Navojoa 1.
