Cocopah Casino reopens after temporary closure

SOMERTON, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY)-Cocopah Casino reopened its doors to the public Monday morning after being closed for two months due to the coronavirus outbreak.

The casino announced reopening dates last week on Facebook.

Cocopah Casino continues to serve the community with safety measures to include:

-You are welcome to bring your own mask when they reopen but they will not require you to wear them during your visit. 

-Security Officers will be taking no-contact temperatures prior to entering the casino. If temperature readings are 100 degrees, guests will be given water and asked to sit for 5 minutes to cool down. If guests’ temperature does not reduce within the acceptable level, the casino will respectfully decline your visit.

-Hand sanitizer dispensers have been placed in key areas for guests as well as back of the house areas and in offices for employees.

-During this time, the casino had HVAC system serviced and sanitized for your health and comfort during your next visit.
