CHP releases Memorial Day weekend statistics

EL CENTRO, Calif. (KYMA, KECY)-The California Highway Patrol in Imperial releases the statistics for Memorial Day weekend as followed:

El Centro Area

-5 DUI arrests

-5 Traffic collisions (two of which were property damage only and the others minor injury)

-49 citations issued of which 8 were for speeds over 100mph

Winterhaven Area

-2 DUI arrests and 1 property damage only collision
