YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY)-The Yuma Police Department (YPD) is hoping the public can help identify a woman seen on security cameras stealing a dog at the 2800 block W. 11th Place.

YPD says on May 8, the owner of the dog realized she was gone after she checked her security camera and saw an older woman pick up her dog (Dulce) from her front porch and walked away.

Dulce is a year and a half old and is not microchipped. Police say the dog is a companion to a special needs child.

The Yuma Police Department encourages anyone with any information about this case to please call the Yuma Police Department at 928-373-4700 or 78-Crime at (928) 782-7463 to remain anonymous.
