Clinic to be held Saturday at Yuma Civic Center

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Yuma Regional Medical Center (YRMC) will hold a second drive-thru coronavirus testing clinic.

YRMC will offer testing this coming Saturday at the Yuma Civic Center. Testing will be done on a first-come first-serve basis. No registration is required.

The clinic is part of the "Arizona Testing Blitz" announced by Governor Doug Ducey earlier this month. Ducey's goal is to test 60,000 Arizonans by the end of May. Drive-thru clinics, like the ones hosted locally by YRMC, the Regional Center for Border Health, and Sunset Health, are currently the primary means of achieving that goal.

So far more than 2,700 Yuma County residents have been tested for coronavirus
