YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The Regional Center for Border Health (RCBH) offers drive-thru coronavirus testing every day of the week.

Anyone is eligible to participate in the drive-thru testing sites, even those who are uninsured. Amanda Aguirre, president and CEO of RCBH says that they have had drive-thru testing since March 13. It's as simple as pulling up to the drive thru testing tent, getting swabbed from the comfort of your car, and in 48 hours results are given.

Aguirre claims that they have even had those come from Mexico to be tested.

The drive-thru is open at the Somerton and San Luis clinics during working hours, and at the Urgent Care Center on Saturdays. Pretty soon they'll be opening up another drive-thru location at their clinic in Parker.

As of today, RCBH has had come across 20 confirmed cases of coronavirus.

RCBH is in the works of offering an antibody test alongside the University of Arizona. This is an effort by Governor Doug Ducey and the University of Arizona to conduct 250,000 tests within sixty days.

The antibody test will give health officials a sense of what the level of infection is and how widespread it is in communities. The tests will prioritize health workers and first responders, and could start as early as this weekend.
