Yuma woman arrested after Chevron robbery

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY)- A woman is arrested after robbing the Chevron located at the 10700 block of S. Fortuna Road on Wednesday, according to the Yuma County Sheriff's Office (YCSO).

YCSO says the 67-year-old woman entered the store and demanded money from the clerk. The woman was given the money and left the store.

Deputies arrived at the scene and found the suspect outside of her vehicle in the parking lot and arrested her.

No weapons were displayed during the robbery and the suspect was unarmed at the time of the arrest. 

YCSO says the woman was booked into the Yuma County Detention Center on one count of robbery.
