7 new cases reported in Sonora
SAN LUIS RIO COLORADO, Sonora (KYMA, KECY)-In less than 24 hours, seven cases are confirmed in Sonora, bringing the total to 267.
On Tuesday, the Sonora Health Secretary Enrique Clausen Iberri says four of the new cases are in Hermosillo, and three in San Luis Rio Colorado (SLRC), Sonora.
Health officials say the new cases are in four men and three women, ages 35-61 years old.
Iberri continues to reiterate to the community to stay home.
On Tuesday, officials reported four deaths due to the virus. The four people that passed away were between the ages of 39-90 years old, in one man and three women.
Officials say all patients had at least one underlying health condition such as diabetes, hypertension, and obesity.
