Yuma County cases surpass 60

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Yuma County District Health Services (YCDHS) confirm three new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19). This brings the total number of cases up to 62.

Health officials aren't releasing any personal information on the newest patients.

The latest statistics indicate one is a female, and two are males.

One is in the 1-17 age range, one is between the ages of 40 and 59, and one is over 60 years old.

YCDHS says there are currently 12 people hospitalized with the virus. This is down one from the county's previous report, indicating at least one individual is in better condition.

Arizona currently has 6,256 cases of coronavirus. The illness has killed 275 people across the state, including one person in Yuma County.
