Yuma Marine arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting minor appears in court

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The Yuma Marine accused of sexually molesting a 13-year-old girl was formally charged this afternoon at Yuma County Court.

19-year-old Jaylen Jackson was presented with two charges of sexual misconduct with a minor.

He was put on a $100,000 cash-only bond and is due back in court next month.

Yuma police took Jackson into custody Wednesday near 16th street and 34th place after getting reported of the alleged abuse.
