18 new COVID-19 cases confirmed in just 24 hours in Sonora

SAN LUIS RIO COLORADO, Sonora (KYMA, KECY)-Health officials confirm 18 COVID-19 cases in Sonora, bringing the total to 199.

In a video conference Thursday evening, the Sonora State Health Secretary Enrique Clausen Iberri says there are 18 new cases and are broken down as followed; Hermosillo 8, San Luis Rio Colorado 7, Cajeme 1, Navojoa 1, Nogales 1. The age range for the new cases is from 20 years of age to 80 years old who have not recently traveled.

Health officials say 13 have recovered and 11 are hospitalized.

As of Thursday, the death toll in Sonora remains at 22.
