Level 2 sex offender community notification

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY)-The Yuma Police Department (YPD) would like to notify the community of a level 2 sex offender who lives in Yuma.

YPD says Mark Everett Sims, 49, is now living at the block of 4000 E. 30^th Place in Yuma.

Sims is described as 5 feet, 7 inches tall, 145 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

On December 17, 1993, Sims was convicted on 1 count of Sexual Abuse in the First Degree.

Mark Everett Sims is a level 2 sex offender with a medium risk to re-offend.
