5 new confirmed cases in San Luis Rio Colorado, 17 deaths in Sonora
SAN LUIS RIO COLORADO, Sonora (KYMA, KECY)- Sonora State Health Officials reported five new cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday night, bringing the total to 79.
On Monday health officials said an eight-year-old child tested positive for the coronavirus. As of now, she is the youngest person in San Luis Rio Colorado, Sonora, with COVID-19.
In a video conference Tuesday evening, the Sonora State Health Secretary Enrique Clausen Iberri said, "the virus is not going away, on the contrary we are in an acceleration stage so we should not relax. Of course its not news that we like, but it should help us to put it hard to stay at home. COVID-19 is taking more and more lives."
San Luis Rio Colorado, Sonora, takes the lead with the most coronavirus cases in the state.
