Kits coming from special repository at the University of Arizona

TUCSON, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The UArizona Health Sciences Biorepository announced Tuesday it will deliver another 700 coronavirus test kids to Yuma County on Wednesday. This is in addition to the 300 kits provided last week.

In addition to Yuma County, the Biorepository will send sample collection kits to hospitals in Tucson, Pima County, UArizona Campus Health, first responders, and the Navajo Nation. The repository will continue to distribute tests to communities based on need. The priority of those needs is evaluated daily.

Under normal circumstances, the UArizona Biorespository provides a variety of specimens and services to the medical research community. More recently, the repository and UofA's scientists have devoted their time and energies to fighting the coronavirus.
