General Hospital in Mexicali receives $100K to purchase medical equipment

MEXICALI, B.C. (KYMA, KECY)-Accuride, a manufacturing company donates $100,000 to the General Hospital in Mexicali.

The donation will be used to purchase medical materials and equipment.

The donation made by the Accuride company was received by the Director of the Hospital Board, Hugo Martinez. He explained that with the donated money they will buy personal protective equipment such as; covers mouths, masks, special suits, and boots.

The Mexicali General Hospital has become the hospital where COVID-19 patients are treated. For this reason, the Board of Trustees has reinforced support efforts in recent days, both in private companies, government and in the community.

The hospital has also received donations from public hospitals in the Imperial Valley.
