Relief payment tracker goes live
New site tells you when to expect your stimulus payment
WASHINGTON, D.C., (KYMA, KECY) - The IRS Coronavirus Relief Payment Tracker went live Wednesday morning. In no time, it was inundated with requests.
The "Get My Payment" website tells users when they can expect to get their relief check. It's also the place to update your personal information, add direct deposit, or change your address.
In order to use the website you'll need:
- Your 2018 or 2019 tax return
- Your social security number
The site went live early Wednesday morning. Traffic had overwhelmed the site by Wednesday afternoon. So if you plan to log on and look for your money, plan to use some patience.
