Both employees have asked News 11 to keep their identities secret due to fear of retaliation. One said she worked closely with the employee who's battling the virus. She is now quarantined and is experiencing mild symptoms.

“I have phlegm stuck in my throat that does not go away even when I drink hot water or any teas. I’ve been coughing a lot and sneezing," said the Employee.

She said she doesn't think Del Sol took proper action. She claims her employer didn't notify her about her colleagues condition. Instead, se says she found out through a co-worker.

“I know a couple of my co-workers who were also at risk were forced to go back to work, but because I was feeling the symptoms they had to examine me." said the employee.

She believes Del Sol is risking the health of its employees and the public.

"They began limiting people, why did they have to wait until another possible person came out sick.”

The employee will return to work after the 14-day quarantine recommended by the hospital. She tells News 11 Del Sol will not pay her for the time off even though she's a full-time employee.

“They made me feel like I was being dramatic and taking this out place. I’m scared. I was directly exposed to the person who is now sick," said the employee.

The worker told us she has been tested and expects her results sometime this week.

News 11 reached out to Del Sol for an on-camera interview, but they declined. We were told to refer back to the press release originally sent out.
