(KYMA, KECY) - Delta Air Lines altered its boarding procedures in hopes of preventing the spread of the coronavirus, according to USA Today.

The Atlanta-based carrier boards flights from back to front. Passengers are asked to stay seated in the waiting area until their row is announced.

The change, which took effect Friday, will remain in place at least through May 31, according to a post on Delta's website.
