San Luis residents donate 500+ face masks to farmworkers

SAN LUIS, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY)-San Luis residents are coming together in times of a global pandemic for our farm working community.

Residents have dedicated their time to makeover 500 plus face masks to ensure the safety of those who work in the Yuma and Imperial County fields.

“I’ve been trying to social distance myself and make sure I don’t get myself sick or someone else," said Juan Carranza, a Farmworker who has worked the fields for over 50- years.
