ADH to host coronavirus webinar
YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - A series of webinars beginning today are being put out by the Arizona Department of Health (ADH) to discuss the coronavirus and answer questions.
The first-hour long webinar begins today and by Friday the ADH will have conducted a total of eight webinars covering different topics.
Today's webinar begins at 10 a.m. and will cover law enforcement in relation to coronavirus. Once the discussion is over, they will proceed with taking questions.
Through the week, the webinars will cover topics in relation to coronaviruses such as health plans, schooling, businesses, and healthcare.
You can find the entire list of webinars at the Yuma County Health Website.
Each page on the website has a header that directs users to a newly created section on the website on coronavirus.
The new page also goes over prevention and assures visitors that there are no cases of coronavirus in Yuma County.
On Tuesday, a second presumptive case of the virus was found in Maricopa County, again sparking fear among Arizona residents that the virus is in the state.
Yuma County Health officials want to assure the public that Yuma County is still considered a low status in contracting the virus.
But they do realize people are still concerned, so they hope they can provide tips on what to do locally to help prevent the virus from existing in Yuma County.
