A new wave of migrants arrive at SLRC shelter

SAN LUIS RIO COLORADO, Mexico (KYMA, KECY)- The immigration battle continues for asylum-seekers in San Luis, Rio Colorado.

The director of the migrant shelter, Casa Del Migrante said there are currently over 30-families being housed at the shelter.

This is a steady pace from last year's numbers.

However, he said another wave of migrants is making their way to the area.

More and more asylum- seekers are coming from South Mexico and Cuba.
