Now Hiring: Border Patrol seeking new recruits

Job fair scheduled for this Friday

EL CENTRO, Calif. (KYMA, KECY) - The U.S. Border Patrol is looking for a few good men, and women, to join its ranks.

On Friday, it will host a hiring event in El Centro. Recruiters will be on hand to answer questions and help with the online application process.

Due to the urgent need for new agents, Border Patrol is offering an attractive recruitment incentive for the following locations:

• Calexico, California
• San Luis, Arizona
• Douglas, Arizona
• Lukeville, Arizona
• Nogales, Arizona

The signing bonus equates to 33% of a new agent's starting pay. It's payable every year for a three-year period. New recruits must enter into a service agreement to qualify for the bonus.
