YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The Arizona Department of Transportation has re-opened one lane of eastbound Interstate 8.
News 11 got its first reports of the accident around four Thursday afternoon. A viewer photo shows a big rig rolled on to its side, but law enforcement still hasn't released any details on the crash.
Witnesses tell us traffic is backed up for miles. They advise other drivers to avoid eastbound I-8 for the next few hours.

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - A crash on Interstate 8 at milepost 3 has shut down the eastbound lanes of the highway.
The Arizona Department of Transportation has no estimation on when the highway will re-open again. Witnesses tell us traffic is backed up all the way to 16th Street. Drivers will want to avoid eastbound I-8 for the next few hours.
Law enforcement is on scene. Officers have yet to release any details on the accident.
