Service will also honor his 13-year-old daughter, Gianna
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (KYMA, KECY) - Details on a public memorial for Laker great Kobe Bryant. his 13-year-old daughter, Gianna, were announced Thursday afternoon.
The service will also honor seven other people killed when Bryant's helicopter crashed into a hillside earlier this month.
The memorial will be held Monday, February 24, at the Staples Center.
The arena is where Bryant played his entire career. The date is also symbolic. Both Kobe and Gianna wore number 24 on their basketball jerseys.
