7 years since Yuma teen disappeared

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY)- February 3rd, 2020 marks seven years since Emily Heiber disappeared.

Emily was 19 when she was last seen in Yuma on March 13th, 2013. The search for Emily has been a long journey.

Her family says she is a lovable person who loves to laugh and make those around her smile.

Emily's family has remained faithful in their search for the missing teen. Her mom, Jenny Jimenez, says, "It is extremely difficult. You get frustrated, you get angry because its been so long. I draw my strength from Emily because we have to find her, we are going to find her."

Jimenez also advises other families in a similar situation to never give up.
