Police investigate shooting near 1st Avenue and 24th Street
One man taken to hospital with serious injuries
UPDATE: 7:01 P.M.
YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - We have new details on a reported shooting on 24th Street near 1st Avenue.
Yuma Police say they got the called to the 100 block of 24th Street just before six Wednesday night. They arrived to find a 25-year-old man with multiple gunshots wounds.
Paramedics took the man to Yuma Regional Medical Center with serious injuries.

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Yuma police are on the scene of an apparent shooting.
Witnesses report hearing as many as five shots in the area of RC Liquors. They also say they saw an ambulance leaving the scene.
Officers currently have traffic blocked along 24th Street from Arizona Avenue to Madison Avenue while they investigate. So far, they're not making an official statement on the incident.
