Mental health a top priority after Puerto Rico earthquakes

Puerto Rico (KYMA, KECY) - Puerto Ricans are continuing to recover from several earthquakes in the recent weeks, and mental health is becoming a top priority.

Local authorities are doing as much as they can to help families cope with the natural disaster.

A 6.4 magnitude earthquake rattled the southwestern part of the island last Wednesday.

A psychologist visited the island to help families and children cope with the latest natural disasters in Puerto Rico. The island has been through devastating hurricanes, political unrest, and recently the earthquakes that damaged several homes.
