SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico (KYMA, KSWT) - A magnitude 5.2 earthquake hit Puerto Rico Friday afternoon.

The quake was centered off the island's southwestern coast.

No word yet on the extent of injuries, deaths, or damage.

The shakeup follows Tuesday's magnitude 6.4 quake. It killed at least one person, injured at least nine, and left nearly a million people without power. More than 2,000 Puerto Ricans remain in shelters following that temblor, hundreds of thousands of people still have no running water.

KYMA.com will have more details on the earthquake as they become available.
