Today is national bobblehead day

(KYMA, KECY, KSWT)- Jan 7 is national bobblehead day throughout the U.S! The history behind the spring headed novelty items go back over 100 years.

NationalDayCalendar.com says that the novelty item was originally made in Germany, then coming to the U.S in the 1950's.

Bobbleheads can now be found at many sporting events throughout the country, as many sports teams will hand out the items as a promotional giveaway to fans in attendance.
