Fire destroys building near Downtown Yuma
YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KSWT, KECY) - UPDATE
The Yuma Fire Department (YFD) battled a raging fire at a vacant warehouse South of Main Street Thursday.
YFD said crews found the commercial building spilling over with heavy smoke and flames coming out of the structure.
Due to the amount of fire, it was unsafe for firefighters to enter the building. However, firefighters were able to extinguish the fire from the outside.
YFD said no injuries were reported.
No other structures were damaged but the building itself was burnt down.
The cause of the fire is being investigated.
YFD said they had MCAS Yuma personal assist with the fire.

Witnesses report a large fire burning near downtown Yuma.
We're told the blaze is burning in a warehouse at 7th and Main Streets.
Video from our viewers shows the structure fully engulfed in flames. The building appears to be a total loss.
No word yet on how the fire started, or if anyone was hurt.
