Tattoo shop owner accused of possession of child pornography
Police say suspect also shot secret video inside his business
YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KSWT, KECY) - Yuma police say they've arrested a local tattoo shop owner for having child pornography and drugs. They also believe he taped some of his clients in various states of undress without their knowledge.
The Yuma Police Department's Child, Family, and Sex Crimes Unit says it arrested 35-year-old Joseph K. Yeghoian after getting a report from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. The tip indicated someone in Yuma had online accounts with pornographic images and videos featuring children.
Detectives say they traced the pornography back to Yeghoian and arrested him Thursday morning on charges of exploitation of a minor, as well as drug and paraphernalia possession.
Police say further investigation led them to a number of videos shot with hidden cameras inside Yeghoian's shop - Hammerhead Tattoo on 4th Avenue. Now they'd like to talk to anyone who got a tattoo in the shop and may have been asked to undress.
