(KYMA, KSWT, KECY, NBC)- A Tennessee family said a man hacked a Ring security camera in their home and taunted their terrified little girl in her bedroom.

NBC News reports the LeMay family said they installed a device in their daughters' bedroom to keep an eye on them. However, days after installing it, the family said a stranger gained access to their device and talked to the little girl.

In the video, you can hear the hacker play music for the little girl and instructed her to mess up her room and break her television.

In a video from the Ring device, the child, standing in her room, asks: "Who is that?"

A man responds that he's her "best friend."

"I'm Santa Claus. Don't you want to be my best friend?" he says.

NBC News said Ring issued a statement that " While we are still investigating this issue and are taking appropriate steps to protect our devices based on our investigation, we are able to confirm this incident is in no way related to a breach or compromise of Ring’s security."

This isn't the first time a Ring device is hacked. Earlier this month a Florida family said someone hacked into their device and said racial slurs to their 15-year-old son.
