Yuma, Ariz. (KYMA, KSWT, KECY) - Three Cibola High School seniors have been named finalists for a prestigious scholarship

Kenia Zepeda Carillo, Manuel Acosta, and Julia Canes were named finalists for the Questbridge Scholarship Program.

The program is nationally recognized as a nonprofit organization that connects high-achieving students with top colleges.

Seniors who become program finalists are assisted through full four-year scholarships or generous financial aid at the organizations college partners.

"I feel very fortunate and overjoyed," says Julia Canez.

"I am proud to have taken advantage of the amazing opportunity Questbridge provides each year. I hope to match with Yale University, and be able to attend in the fall once I graduate from Cibola." she said.
