Five dead in a domestic shooting in San Diego

UPDATE: Multiple fatalities have been reported in a shooting that occurred in a San Diego residence Saturday morning.

San Diego Police ( SDPD ) officers making their way to the scene received an additional 9-1-1 call from a neighbor saying he heard arguing prior to the gunshots, reports NBC San Diego.

A 31-year-old man, a 29-year-old woman, and a 3-year-old boy were pronounced dead inside a Paradise Hills residence.

A 5-year-old boy and a 9-year-old boy died at a local hospital.

An additional 11-year-old boy was transported to a local hospital for emergency surgery. The extent of his injuries has not been released.

Lieutenant Matt Dobbs with SDPD believes the victims are all family members, with the suspect being among the dead.

SDPD Homicide continues to investigate.

ORIGINAL ARTICLE: Five people are dead and an additional victim has been injured after a shooting on Saturday morning in a San Diego neighborhood.

Fox5 San Diego reports the incident occurred in the neighborhood of Paradise Hills.

Police were dispatched to the scene at about 7:00 a.m. Saturday Morning. They say three of the victims killed are children.

KUSI news reports four children, one adult female, and an adult male were found with gun wounds in a Paradise Hills home. One child is in critical condition at a hospital.

Three of the children and both adults were pronounced dead.

San Diego homicide detectives are currently on scene. They believe the shooter to be one of the dead.
