YUMA, AZ (KYMA) During the cold winter nights, Crossroads Mission begins to see an increase of people coming through their shelter and do whatever they can to provide them with warmth.

The nights are getting colder, the cement floors are getting cooler, and pretty soon they'll start getting wet from the rain.

The Mission takes anyone who is sober and passes their drug test and breathalyzer. This allows them to provide a safe environment for everyone who is a guest at the Mission.

The Mission said over 100 people are requesting shelter as the days get cooler. Roughly 200 meals are being produced in the kitchen to feed those who are in need of a hot meal.

At the shelter, there are two different buildings, a house for all men and a house for families, women, and children.

At the mission, guests are able to take on many programs and services to turn their life around.

However, they also help guests with any necessary documentation that is needed to help them get a job.

With The New Life Program, a second chance is given to anyone in search of turning their life around.

The Mission's house manager said that most people that come through their shelter end up building a relationship with Christ.

With many coming in and out of the shelter, certain items begin to become limited.

The shelter is currently accepting donations from the community.

They are currently in need of blankets, towels, and laundry detergent.
