Military Matters: Honoring Cpl. Leroy Hubbert

For today’s Military Matters, we honor Corporal (Cpl.) Leroy Hubbert.

Cpl. Hubbert enlisted in the Marine Corps three years ago. He is assigned as a Postal Clerk where he handles accepting, sorting, manifesting and dispatching all types of mail, to include official mail, and any other duties in connection with the proper running of a postal operation at Marine Corps Air Station Yuma.

According to a press release provided from MCAS Yuma, Cpl. Hubbert’s joined the Marine Corps because it was always a dream of his to be a part of the military.

Hubbert grew up with Marines in his family who inspired him to be a part of something bigger than himself.

In his free time, Cpl. Hubbert enjoys hanging out with his close friends, playing video games, playing in the base football league, and volunteering whenever he can.

Cpl. Hubbert recently reenlisted to continue and further his career as a Marine.
