Temperatures forecast to dip in the 30’s in the lower desert this week
Temperatures will drop down to mid-30’s on Wednesday, October 30, in the lower deserts this week including Blythe, Yuma County, and Imperial County. According to the National Weather Service, an exiting weather system will bring in much cooler air across the region today, Monday, resulting in below temperatures through at least mid-week.
Another cold front will push through the area on Wednesday bringing breezy to windy conditions again as well as a reinforcing shot of cold water.
This will shift low temperatures into the mid-30’s to low 40’s over the lower deserts for Thursday morning.
Dry conditions will gradually warm back to near normal temperatures by the weekend.
